The decal may curl up a lot at first but will then relax then release from the paper.

Ceramic decals are made of a special water slide and heat release paper that transfers images from paper to ceramics or glass. Once your decal has had a few hours to dry you need to either set it for ceramics and glass or seal it for tumblers. Decals are a fun way to personalize your own work by adding color and depth and can be used in school classrooms for projects that kids will love. Mine said to bake it in an oven at 230 degrees for 10 15 minutes.

Trim the decal and soak it in room temperature water. Soon it will start to peel up on the edges which means it is ready.
