The story begins 60 years ago when a pretty headstrong teenager named bobbi steele crept out the back door of her family s illinois farmhouse to run away with a traveling rodeo.

The two time superhorse and aqha uset poster stallion rugged lark would be nothing without breeder owner and promoter carol harris. They built a legacy and shattered pre conceived notions about the intelligence and capabilities of horses and the horse human bond. On thursday carol harris offered all of lark s memorabilia including his larger than life sized bronze statue to the florida agriculture center and horse park.
